Effley Howell, Sr. is ithe CEO of Thankful Heritage, Inc., a non-profit organization that features an African American museum filled with a comprehensive collection of African American artifacts dating back to the 1700’s including an impressive display of artifacts for the Civil War.
Mr. Howell is a self taught scholar on African American history who received the prestigious Nancy Susan Reynolds Award in 2003 for his work in improving race relations. His website is www.thethankfulheritage.org.
