Rural Hall to Offer Program on Canning & Food Preservation

This summer bountiful gardens are popping up all over our area as more and more people choose to grow their own food. Canning and preserving summer produce is a great way to enjoy summer fruits and vegetables throughout the fall and winter.

If you’re interested in learning how to can and preserve fruits and vegetables, join Forsyth County Extension agent Jennifer Brown as she presents a program on canning and preserving fresh healthy produce for the months ahead. This is a great opportunity to learn the specifics of properly freezing and canning food for enjoyment year-round as well as provide some relief for your monthly food budget. For more information call 703-2970.
Rural Hall. Saturday, July 11 @ 10:30 AM.
