Synopsis and Discussion

Air quality levels have quickly responded to the clear skies and lower dewpoints as Ozone readings are making a push into the YELLOW range. Little will change for Friday as highs push towards the 90-degree mark and skies remain clear once again. Winds will start to shift around to the northeast and east for the afternoon and should allow AQI values to hold in the YELLOW range. Again, firework celebrations for the 4th of July (Friday) will cause localized peaks of Particle Pollution so be advised if you are sensitive to those conditions. As the east wind continues, it should help improve AQI readings for the weekend and help GREEN conditions return for Sunday. (Bodenhamer)
