Synopsis and Discussion
Particle pollution levels have jumped into the mid code YELLOW range, Saturday, with a warm, polluted, air mass over the region. A backdoor cold front will drop through the Triad, early Sunday, leading to lower temperatures, clouds, and possibly a few showers. Particle pollution readings will remain elevated and code YELLOW, Sunday. A strong cold front will sweep through the state, Monday afternoon, ushering in a much cleaner, cooler air mass. Particle pollution will be higher early Monday, before dropping back, behind the front, resulting in an average of upper code GREEN or low code YELLOW. Tuesday, particle pollution will return solidly to the code GREEN category (GENTRY).
