Tuberculosis Control Clinic

The Tuberculosis Control Clinic provides case management and Directly Observed Therapy (DOT) for persons with suspect or active TB. The clinic also provides follow-up and preventive therapy for individuals with Latent Tuberculosis Infections (LTBI). Skin testing for high-risk individuals is provided through the TB Skin Testing Clinic.

Who is Eligible

Forsyth County residents who have suspect/active TB; latent TB infection (LTBI); or exposure to a contact of an active TB case.

Cost

There is no charge for these services.

Appointments

Appointments can be scheduled by calling (336) 703-3100. Individuals for treatment of LTBI are seen by appointment as well as those needing LTBI evaluations for immigration or place of employment. Individuals with suspect/active TB, currently on LTBI preventive treatment, currently on DOT, or in need of exemption letters or chest X-rays are seen on a walk-in basis.

Thursday: 9:30 am - 6:45 pm
Friday: 8:30 am - 3:45 pm
