Representative Payee Services
Representative Payee Services are provided for adults for whom DSS has been appointed to serve in this capacity. Adults served by DSS are those who
cannot manage their finances and have no appropriate person or agency to act as payee. Case management is provided to these adults to assure the
appropriate use of income to address needs and to strengthen basic skills in money management. This is a useful service to prevent the financial
exploitation of the elderly and disabled.
