    After 14 years of service to Forsyth County, Investigator Ronnie Holland has retired from the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office. Congratulations Investigator Holland!

    Sheriff's Office is Awarded Law Enforcement Accreditation

    Forsyth County Sheriff William T. Schatzman announced today that on July 31st the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA) advised the Sheriff’s Office that it had passed all of its reviews and examinations and was awarded Law Enforcement Accreditation.

    The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office has received notification from Governor Bev Perdue that the agency has been awarded funding for its Burglary/Robbery Initiative.

  8. R.L. Horton Earns Credentials as Cert. Crime Scene Anyalyst

    R.L. Horton Earns Credentials as Cert. Crime Scene Anyalyst

    On April 9th, Investigator R. L. Horton earned the credentials as a Certified Crime Scene Analyst through the International Association for Identification (IAI). There are only ten Certified Crime Scene Analysts in North Carolina and 177 throughout the world.
