Deputy Marty Luffman Retires

Deputy Marty Luffman began his Law Enforcement career in 1992 with the Wilkes County Sheriff’s Department. On February 10, 2001, he was hired by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy Sheriff. On May 30, 2000, Deputy Luffman was promoted to Deputy Sheriff III.

Deputy Sheriff Luffman received several Letters of Commendation throughout his career.

Throughout the course of his career, Deputy Luffman served in various capacities within the Field Services Division, Community Services Division, and Judicial Services Division. He also had a specialized assignment in Crisis Intervention and as a Field Training Officer.

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office wishes Deputy Marty Luffman all the best in his future endeavors.
