On January 20, 2021, Officer Tecle was performing his duties of searching incoming mail for the residents when he discovered a Schedule III Controlled Substance concealed inside a piece of mail. Officer Tecle’s due diligence and attention to detail prevented contraband from entering a housing unit. That particular drug has the potential of causing harm to residents and staff members inside the Forsyth County Law Enforcement Detention Center. Officer Tecle keeps the safety and security of the facility a top priority while performing his daily responsibilities.
