During the month of July Corporal Boyd intercepted correspondence between two inmates. This correspondence outlined violent inmate activity and confession of an assault. The correspondence also contained admission of collecting debts for a commissary scheme, along with family members to assault employees of the agency and civilian contractors. This investigation led to the involved inmate receiving institutional disciplinary sanctions.

Corporal Angela Alston-Boyd is assigned as the classification Corporal for the Special Housing Unit. Corporal Boyd is attentive to the issues of this area. She has also served as the acting classification manager during the month of July.
