2017 Detention Staff Member of the Year

On June 28, 2017, Detention Officer and SRT member K. Howard was the first staff member to arrive to a housing unit that called a fight with an officer involved. Officer Howard did not hesitate to enter the housing unit and assist the Officer involved in the incident.

Officer Howard showed courage and dedication to her fellow staff members. Detention Officer Howard is an asset to the Forsyth County Law Enforcement Detention Center. She has been employed with the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office since June 2010.
