During the week of May 16th, several Magistrate Summons/Summary ejectments were delivered to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office for service. Mrs. McClain noticed that the court dates for several of the processes was fast approaching. North Carolina statutory requirements are strict, requiring a sheriff's office to process and serve summons and ejectments in a timely manner. Mrs. McClain notified Civil Section supervision about the large influx of processes, which allowed the area to prioritize their workload appropriately. Her attention to detail helped the Civil Section serve the time sensitive processes.
