Parks and Recreation
The Forsyth County Parks and Recreation Department is dedicated to serving all residents
and visitors of Forsyth County through park development and recreational activities.
Our nine parks are designed to offer opportunities to enjoy nature and the out-of-doors.
We offer programs which help recharge physical and mental energies in a recreational
atmosphere.

Join us at the Tanglewood Park Clubhouse Driving Range on Friday, April 12, 2013 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm and try the new line of G25 product from Ping. Representatives from Ping Golf will be on site.

On the afternoon of the 6th of March, 2013, Tanglewood Park lost one of its great features. The large majestic White Oak Tree, affectionately known as the “Wedding Tree”, located near the Tanglewood Manor House, fell over in strong winds.

Clemmons, NC- Forsyth County Parks & Recreation will not host its own fireworks display at Tanglewood Park due to the cost to put on the event exceeding the level of sponsorship in place.

Forsyth County Parks and Recreation will be participating in Forsyth Creek Week. Forsyth County residents can participate in kayak fishing demonstrations, creek crawls, creek education programs, and Audubon bird walks at Tanglewood Park.
