Are you ready to buy a new car? Or do you need a new refrigerator, or washing machine, and you aren't sure which one to buy? You can get help choosing the right one with Consumer Reports Magazine, available on the library's Online Resources Page under the heading Magazines, Newspapers and Journals. Everything from computer printers to vacuum cleaners to insect repellent, the items are tested and rated. Products are given an overall score, and then rated in categories such as predicted reliability, owner satisfaction, and other categories depending on the product. Consumer Reports is a reliable, fair resource to help consumers decide what products to buy.
