Book Clubs
Books for Dudes is a book club for guys of all ages. Meetings are
held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at noon in Room 120. At our meetings, we
talk about whatever we happen to be reading at the time. Fiction or nonfiction,
new or old, popular or obscure, manly enough to put hair on your chest or girly
“chick lit” -- we’ll talk about it. Enjoy a laid-back chat about what you like to
read and what you like about it. Some light refreshments are provided. Come prepared
to talk about your favorite author or a book you’ve enjoyed recently. Or if you
prefer, come and just listen. We have lots of avid readers who love to talk books,
movies, sports, or whatever is going on in the world. Please join us this month!
4th Thursday Book Club meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at 12:30 pm.
The club has members of all ages and genders; reads fiction, nonfiction, biography
and memoir; loves author visits and food, and occasionally meets at local eateries.
