• Computer Classes

    The Library’s Computer Training Bridge offers FREE classes for beginner and intermediate computer users. Classes are held in many of the WinstonNet computer labs which includes, library branches, City of Winston-Salem Recreation Centers and many faith based organizations.

  • Digitization Stations

    The Library provides a place for users to digitize analog formats such as cassettes, slides, photos, documents and videos.

  • Computer Services

    Public Internet workstations are available at all locations, so call or stop by and ask for details on using this FREE Internet service. All computers have Microsoft Word and many have CD-Rom educational programs, tutorials and games.

  • Meeting Rooms

    A wide assortment of meeting spaces is available for public use at FCPL locations. Find out more about how to arrange for your group to meet at a local Library.

  • Assistive Technology

    FCPL offers computers equipped with assistive technology (AT). The services are available at Central, Carver, and Paddison Memorial Branch locations during regular library hours.

  • Servicios en Espanol

    Services for Spanish-speaking People are available through the Library throughout Forsyth County with our outreach program.

  • Adult Outreach

    The Library offers special services to patrons who are homebound, institutionalized, or otherwise unable to visit one of our library buildings. Our Adult Outreach program provides access to library services to thousands of Forsyth County citizens who ordinarily would not be reached.

  • Proctoring Services

    All The Forsyth County Public Library offers test proctoring services. This service is available at all locations during regular library hours. Online test proctoring is available at select locations.

  • Peer Support Specialist

    Through a Library Services and Technology Act grant the Forsyth County Public Library partners with United Way to employ a North Carolina certified Peer Support Specialist. The Peer Support Specialist is trained to work on-site daily at our Malloy/ Jordan East Winston Heritage Center directing people of our community to essential services such as housing assistance, medical services, mental health counseling and financial assistance.
