Meet Our New Children's Librarian: Jamall Grice

We are excited to welcome our new children's librarian, Jamall Grice, into the Southside Branch Library family! Jamall graduated from Winston-Salem State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, and from East Carolina University with a Master of Library Science. Her mission is to advocate for literacy and to help people of all ages develop a love for reading. Outside of the library, she is committed to education and providing mentorship to youth.

Jamall is using January as a planning month, but she'll begin presenting storytimes and a bunch of different programs for kids and teens in February. Keep an eye on our events calendar for updates. She's so glad to be a youth services librarian and she looks forward to meeting you soon!
