LAM Museum of Anthropology: Native American Heritage Month Program

Native American Heritage Month – Cherokee Pottery
Wednesday, Nov. 10 from 4 - 5 p.m.
Virtual via Zoom
Recommended for children ages 5 – 11, but all are welcome.

Join us in taking a closer look at the Cherokee Nation as part of Native American Heritage month. Tina Smith of the LAM Museum of Anthropology with Wake Forest University will lead us in learning more about the culture, people, and objects of the Cherokee Nation.

Children will be able to make their own clay pot so be sure to stop by the Reynolda Manor Branch to pick up your craft kit after Nov. 1. Craft kits will be available throughout the month of November, and they are not required to attend the program.
