Let the Record Show Features Art From Recycled Records and Albums at Central Library Sept. 1-30

"Let the Record Show" takes old vinyl records and album covers and turns them into art. The show is on display at Central Library's second floor gallery through the end of September and features paintings, videos, sculpture, clothing, lamps and more.

The show was organized by DENT, a nonprofit and Creative Reuse and Art Laboratory in Winston-Salem. An opening reception for the exhibit will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 1 from 5-7 p.m.

DENT's mission is to encourage creative activities, environmental awareness and community by making a DENT in the waste stream.
