Watch Virginia Evans event live at two Library branches
If Virginia Evans had a fan club, the Winston-Salem chapter's members might number in the thousands. The buzz surrounding her scheduled appearance has not abated since it was announced on March 28.
Central Library's Auditorium and Reading Room filled up within minutes when registration opened April 11, and moving the event to First Baptist added hundreds more to the registration list in nearly the same amount of time.
To make this landmark event accessible to as many people as possible, Central Library and Rural Hall Branch Library will livestream Virginia Evans in Conversation with Charlie Lovett in their auditoriums on Tuesday, April 21 at 6 p.m. Here's what you need to know:
- Doors will open at 5 p.m.
- No registration is required.
- Walk-ins will be accepted until capacity is reached.
- Recording the event is strictly prohibited.
