Forsyth County facilities Jan 27 due to inclement weather

Forsyth County Government offices will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 27, except for emergency/essential personnel, due to road conditions caused by inclement weather. All activities at county facilities scheduled for today are canceled. This closure includes the Bridges to Hope Family Justice Center as well as the County’s Health and Human Services campus, parks and libraries.

The Forsyth County Commissioners Briefing scheduled for today at 2 p.m. has been changed to a virtual meeting that will either be streamed or uploaded on the county’s Facebook and YouTube accounts.

County management is still assessing the situation for later in the week and will announce if there are any further delays or closings due to the weather.
