All branches will be closed Tuesday-Thursday, Dec. 24-26, for Christmas.
Children and caregivers can attend sensory-friendly programs throughout Forsyth County Public Libraries. Please check the list of upcoming events for more information.
We offer two book clubs at Rural Hall, the Rural Hall Book Club is held on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. and the Living Well Book Club is held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 1 p.m. Come join either book club to meet new friends and engage in lively discussion.
Tuesdays are all about the arts at the Rural Hall Branch Library. If you are looking to join together with fellow painters, crocheters, knitters, quilters or those who love to sew, then there is a club for you.
Children and their caregivers are welcome to join us each week for storytimes in the Rural Hall Branch Library Auditorium. Toddler Storytime will be on a temporary hiatus, but Preschool Storytime (3-5 years old) will meet every Thursday from 11-11:45 a.m. and include stories, songs, flannel activities, rhymes, and a coloring activity.
The Rural Hall/Stanleyville Branch Public Library is located at 7125 Broad Street in Rural Hall, NC. It opened in 1982 to serve the Town of Rural Hall, northern Forsyth County and many customers from Stokes and Surry Counties. Families with children, older adults, and employees of local businesses make up the largest segment of library users. This branch serves a predominantly family-oriented, church-tied community. The branch has 10,000 borrowers and more than 45,000 books.
