Gingerbread Contest

Calling all gingerbread architects! Families, teams and individuals can build a gingerbread creation (house, train, library, etc.) for a contest that is coming soon. We will accept photographs of your creations as entries starting Dec. 1 on our social media. Start planning your creation now so you can participate. Find contest details here.

FCPL to Close Early Wednesday, Nov. 25, and Closed Nov. 26-27

All FCPL branches will close early at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25. All branches will be closed for Thanksgiving on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 26-27. We will reopen on Saturday, Nov. 28.

NC Live ebooks and audiobooks Moving to Hoopla Dec. 2

On Dec. 2, 2020, all of NC Live’s 2,581 ebook and audiobook titles from RBdigital will be transferred to hoopla. As a member library with NCLive, all Forsyth County Public Library patrons can access these titles on hoopla starting Dec. 2.

Digital Magazines Now Only Available in NC Digital Library

As of Nov. 1, Zinio is not available with the library. This means that digital magazines will no longer be accessible through the RBdigital app. But you can still access some popular magazine titles by using our North Carolina Digital Library through the Libby app.
