Open Invitation Art Exhibit

Forsyth County Public Library is inviting artists of all ages and experience levels from amateur to professional to join the Open Invitation Art Exhibit in August. Highlighting our Summer Reading theme, "Breath of Fresh A.I.R." (Art, Innovation, and Reading), this exhibit will run Aug. 1-31 in the Central Library's second floor gallery. A reception for the artists will be held on Thursday, August 4, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the exhibit area. To participate in the Open Invitation Art Exhibit, bring an original two-dimensional art piece to the second floor of the Central Library at 660 W. Fifth St. on Saturday, July 30, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. All exhibit items must be ready to hang with a wire on the back and should not exceed 24" x 24".
