Small Farms Week Art Contest 2023

Mark your calendars for March 27-31, the dates of our annual Small Farms Week, “Growth in a Changing Climate,” presented by Cooperative Extension at N.C. A&T.

North Carolina A&T State University will be celebrating the 3tth annual Small Farms Week, March 27-31, 2023. Small Farms Week is truly a statewide event that recognizes the contributions of small farmers in counties across the state.

Among the lineup of Small Farms Week 2023:

  • KICKOFF EVENT launching the week’s activities, beginning with a luncheon in the home county of the preceding year’s Small Farmer of the Year (Robeson Co).
  • EDUCATIONAL FORUMS including Soil Health, Food and Farm Safety, Climate resilience, high-tunnel production and so much more at the NCAT Farm Pavillion in Greensboro, NC!
  • SMALL FARMERS’ APPRECIATION LUNCHEON honoring small farmers, including the Small Farmer of the Year.

Join us in recognizing the people who are the engine of North Carolina’s $96 billion agricultural sector!
