On 05/21/2011, Pfc. Clendenning was performing his daily shakedowns in 6B dormitory. While searching the bed linen in cell 6B-10, he found a clear, small package that looked like it contained tobacco. After further investigation he noticed another yellow package containing an unknown substance concealed within the tobacco. The substance was tested and was determined to be Marijuana. Due to Pfc. Clendenning’s attention to detail while conducting cell searches and thorough investigation, the illegal contraband was removed from the law Enforcement Detention Center.
