The Federal Clean Water Act and Your Local Waterways at Lewisville Branch Library

How does the Clean Water Act affect our lives in Lewisville? Which local waterways are subject to regulations? And, what do I need to know about my own impact on local streams, creeks and rivers? Director of Graduate Studies in Sustainability at Wake Forest University, Stan Meiburg, and Wake Forest professor Becky Dickson, will walk us through what the Clean Water Act covers, its purpose, and how it is important on a local level. Learn how the Clean Water Act really affects you and your family, and how you can contribute to cleaner water in your own backyard.
