This a part-time Maintenance Technician position at Triad Park will perform daily duties including volleyball, softball field and horseshoe pit maintenance and preparing shelters for incoming reservation groups. You will also blow off playgrounds, haul mulch, paint, operate front deck mower, and weedeat. We are looking for a self-motivated person to provide services for the Women, Infants and Children’s Program (WIC). Telecommunicator -911 Telecommunicator

General Description:
The Telecommunicator is responsible for operating an enhanced 911 emergency system involving a network of complex equipment. You will answer calls requesting emergency assistance and ask callers appropriate questions in determining the proper response needed. The success candidate dispatches fire and rescue personnel and equipment in addition to the appropriate fire department and the amount of response based on computer aided dispatch information and standard operating procedures. You will also dispatch emergency medical service personnel to respond to medical emergencies. Duties also include providing pre-arrival instructions to callers. You must respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Judgment is required in making quick decisions during emergencies. You will respond promptly to mutual aid request from adjoining counties and patch in out of county ambulances to the hospitals. Work is performed under general supervision and is evaluated through conferences and review of operations. The schedule is subject to 12 hour rotating shifts.
