Deputy Sheriff II Leroy D. Moore Retires

Deputy Sheriff II Leroy D. Moore began his Law Enforcement career with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office in 1991 as a Detention Officer. Deputy Moore earned several promotions throughout his career with his most recent promotion to the rank of Deputy Sheriff II on December 2, 2017.

During his career, Deputy Moore earned both the Intermediate & Advanced Law Enforcement Certificates. Deputy Moore also received a Life-Saving Award on May 16, 2018.

Throughout the course of his career, Deputy Moore served in various capacities within the Judicial Services Division, Investigative Services Division, and the Law Enforcement Detention Center. At the time of his retirement, he was Court Security under the Judicial Services Division.

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office wishes Deputy Moore all the best in his future endeavors.
