How NASA Put a Man on the Moon

Only 66 years separated the first successful airplane flight and the historic moon landing. The moon landing in 1969 was a pivotal moment in the history of science and humanity, defining an age of exploration and innovation. But how did it happen? What did it take to put a man on the moon? And how can this have an impact on our future in space? Join us at Central Library on June 13 with NASA Ambassador Annette Horsley as she tells us about the early days of NASA and what it took to make the moon landing possible.

Date: June 13
Time: 11 a.m.
Location: Central Library Auditorium
