December Programs for Children and Teens at the Lewisville Branch Library

The Holidays are Here
In December, we take a break from regular programming for children and teens at the Lewisville Branch Library. Instead, we will be having a few special activities to celebrate the season. Regular programs for children and teens, such as storytimes and Lego Book Club, will resume in January. Happy Holidays!

Special December Activities:

Snowflake Search & Find
Lewisville Branch Library
Dec. 2-5
Search the Children's Area for the Hidden Images. Find them all and get a prize!

Holiday Cookie Decorating, Crafts, and Games for Kids
Lewisville Branch Library
Monday, Dec. 16 from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Children will get to decorate cookies, make holiday crafts, listen to Christmas stories, and play holiday-inspired games at the library. Local author, Carol Matney, will be reading her book, St. Nick's Clique, in the story corner at this event.
Parental permission forms will need to be filled out at the time of the program for children to decorate cookies.
This program is sponsored by Food Lion and the Friends of the Lewisville Branch Library.

Storytime with Santa and Mrs. Claus
Lewisville Branch Library
Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 10:15 a.m.
Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will be visiting the Lewisville Branch Library for storytime. Stories, rhymes, songs, and activities for children on a Christmas theme. Be sure to bring your camera!
All ages are welcome.

Christmas Rock Music
Lewisville Branch Library
Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 6 p.m.
The high school rock band, LionBadgerSnake, is performing their Holiday Rock Concert.
All ages are welcome.
