Summer Paintings by local artist Bill Scherbak

The arts have always been an integral part of Bill Scherbak's life and as a child, he would take time from a busy play schedule to draw and color. Bill disliked coloring books because they required him to stay in the lines, limiting self-expression. He preferred the freedom in his own creations.

Bill Scherbak works in Sales/Marketing as his chosen profession, which provided him with an opportunity to explore a different creative side. After many years in the corporate world, his artistic side reawakened, and in his early 60s, he started painting again. After all those years, he finds that he still resists staying inside the lines.

The Lewisville Branch will be displaying Bill Scherbak's work during the months of July and August in our auditorium. Please stop by and ask to see his wonderful collection of paintings.
