Coleman Alderson at Walkertown on March 12th

It’s 2053. The earth has been covered in clouds for decades. The climate has changed but not as predicted as it grows colder with each passing season. In the region of what was once Central Appalachia, a family bravely struggles to survive. And it’s not just nature they’re fighting. Dangerous politicians have risen to power, hellbent on depopulating the mountains and stripping away the hill folk's last vestige of hope and freedom.

Born and raised in West Virginia, Coleman Alderson considers himself an outlier, a libertarian entrepreneur, an eclectic reader, a devoted family man, a plantsman, a home designer-builder-remodeler, a practical supporter of decentralized alternative energy, and a conscious capitalist. Meet NC Author Coleman Alderson and listen to his stories.

Free event. Reception sponsored by the Friends of the Walkertown Library.
