Beekeeping 101 on October 12th at Walkertown

Buzz in for a fun and informative discussion on honeybees and beekeeping. Local beekeeper Corneille Cecil will share :


-The importance honeybees have on our environment.
-The different types of bees that make up a hive.
-What honeybees produce...it's not just honey.
-The benefits of becoming a beekeeper.
-How to start your own beehive and harvest honey.

Various beekeeping equipment and tools will be on display and used throughout the discussion. Samples of honey will also be available for tasting. All ages are welcome to attend.
