Captain Scott Miller Retires

Captain Miller began his law enforcement career in 1994 with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy with the Reserve Officer program. He worked at EMS for over 10 years prior to joining the FCSO. In 1997, Captain Miller was hired full-time as a Deputy Sheriff.

Captain Miller has over 31 years of service to the citizens of Forsyth County. In addition to Captain Miller’s service, he has earned many commendations during his career. He was named “Officer of the Month” in 2008 and received several letters of commendation. Captain Miller’s law enforcement career includes experience in Field Services, Community Policing, Criminal investigations and Professional Standards and Inspections.

Captain Miller will be missed and we wish him the best in all future endeavors. Congratulations Captain Miller!
