Sergeant Mark Mitchell Retires

After 23 years of service to Forsyth County, Sergeant Mark Mitchell has retired from the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.

Sergeant Mitchell began his career in Law Enforcement with the FCSO as a Detention Officer in 1989. He has served in many areas of the FCSO throughout his career, including Transportation, Field Services, SRO and as a member of the SWAT Team. He earned an Advanced Professional Certificate and Intermediate Service Award during his tenure with the FCSO.

Sergeant Mitchell’s knowledge and guidance will be missed and we wish him the best in all future endeavors. Congratulations Sergeant Mitchell!
