Detention Officer Barbara Brown Retires

After 5 years of service to Forsyth County, Detention officer Barbara Brown has retired from the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.

Detention Officer Brown began her career with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office in 2007. She had worked in textiles for several years, and due to a layoff, Detention Officer Brown enrolled in college courses. She graduated with an Associate’s Degree and was hired as a Detention Officer.

Detention Officer Brown has served in the Custody Intake area of the Law Enforcement Detention Center. She is known for her strong work ethic and attention to detail. Detention Officer Brown plans to spend time with her family and enjoy riding horses in retirement. We wish her the best in all future endeavors.
