Welcome Inspirational Author Lynne Hinton to Southside

Why I Can't Stop Writing: The Importance of Doing What You Love, will be the topic of the evening for inspirational author Lynne Hinton. Did you know that Lynne, currently a resident of Albuquerque, NM, has North Carolina roots? Yes, and she's returning in June. Lynne will be the guest at Southside Library for an evening of conversation about writing and books to kick off your summer reading season. Please join us for for light refreshments.

You know Lynne as a writer of the The Last Odd Day, The Order of Things, the Hope Springs series, and last year's Pie Town. Welcome Back to Pie Town is forthcoming this summer. She writes about small towns and their residents, precious friendships, the conflicts in relationships, all woven together with the importance of spirituality in our lives. In addition to her work as an author, Lynne is active in the ministry, and combines those two passions leading workshops on writing and spirituality around the country. Visit Lynne's website and find her on Facebook to learn more!

Haven't read Lynne yet? If you love Jan Karon, Fannie Flagg, Jennifer Chiaverini, or Lisa Genova, come meet Lynne. You'll find you've got a new author to follow this summer.
