Wanda Urbanska Visits Central Library

Wanda Urbanska, host of the popular PBS series “Simple Living with Wanda Urbanska," has appeared on “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” the “Today Show,” and “CBS This Morning.” In all of her programs, she offers thoughtful ideas to inspire each of us to make adjustments to possession-cluttered, time-starved lives. Whether it’s suggesting that you replace disposable coffee cups with a travel mug; buy a seasonal share of a local farmer’s crop; or volunteer for a worthwhile cause, she’ll provide you with small steps that, taken together by all of us, can make a large impact on our lives and the lives of those around us.

She has authored and co-authored numerous books, including Nothing's Too Small to Make a Difference, Less is More, Simple Living, and Moving to a Small Town. Her latest book, The Heart of Simple Living: Seven Paths to a Better Life, is an inspiring and practical journey based on two decades of experience, research and teaching.
