HIV Counseling and Testing

The Sexually Transmitted Disease Clinic provides confidential HIV counseling and testing.

Who is Eligible
Anyone concerned about possible exposure to HIV or needing an HIV test. You do not have to be a resident of Forsyth County or North Carolina to visit this clinic. Photo ID required.

Cost
HIV testing is FREE.

Appointments
Appointments are not required but are offered Monday through Friday for HIV testing ONLY. Call to schedule an appointment. For English, please call (336) 703-3315. Spanish-speaking clients may call (336) 703-3091.

HIV Results
Results are available 3 weeks from date of testing.You will be given information for the date that your results are available.

Rapid HIV Testing
Rapid HIV testing is NOT offered through the clinic but through Planned Parenthood of Winston Salem located at 3000 Maplewood Avenue, #112. For more information, call 336-768-2980 or toll free 1-800-273-2980.
