Community Care
The Community Care Program was implemented by the Forsyth County Animal Control
Department in 2004 to provide for additional adoption, rescue & foster care resources
for the Forsyth County Animal Shelter. Currently over 30 animal welfare groups participate
in the Community Care Program. The success of this program is due largely to the
efforts of our partner organizations and the sustained relationship of the department
with these groups.
